Op de blog probeer ik (net als op mijn Instagram) voor een leuke afwisseling te zorgen tussen receptjes/foodpictures en reisverhalen/travelpics en dat alles met nog wat family-topics er tussendoor.
Ik ga het volgend jaar zeker nog door hiermee en hoop dat ik jullie kan blijven inspireren!
Tijdens deze laatste dagen van het jaar kijk ik graag even terug op onze tripjes en reizen het afgelopen jaar.

We were so in need of a relaxing, sunny family holiday and Corfu seemed to tick most of those boxes, so off we went for a
(non-sponsored) 10-day trip. ;-)
We flew from Charleroi Brussels South Airport and it's approximately a two-hour flight.

Every summer there is one week that all three of our kids are out of the house all together (scouts camp) and usually the misses and I take that chance to get away just the two of us. It is sometimes good to get away together... I think the fancy term for that is 'to re-connect' once in a while. ;-)

Last summer we flew from Eindhoven to Chania where we rented a car and drove to our rental apartment in the quiet seaside town of Kissamos. The apartment (called Kallimento) was quite new, beautifully decorated and had three bedrooms and a nice terrace. The young lady in charge of it, is really friendly and helpfull! It doesn’t come with a pool, but is within easy reach of a number of stunning beaches. There is a local supermarket within walking distance which makes it easy to prepare a nice lunch at the apartment, should you want to do so....
